The UBA-301 allows for the protection of a three-phase asynchronous electric motor from most failures.

For example, UBA-301 is used by ETK “Automated Systems” in their SHUDN-1-380 panels, which are designed to maintain the specified level of liquid in various tanks by controlling a single electric motor.

The panel is based on the programmable relay MSK-107 paired with the universal motor protection block UBA-301 to ensure motor protection. The MSK-107 controller is designed to work in conjunction with conductivity, float level sensors, pressure relays, or electrocontact manometers.

Technoprom LLC uses the UBA-301 in BUS-4 panels for controlling the pump station. The BUS-4 block is designed for controlling the asynchronous motor with a squirrel-cage rotor of the pump station, as well as for protecting the controlled electric drive and technological equipment of the pump station during emergency operating modes.

The BUS-4 controls the pump station motor in manual, automatic, and programmable modes.

Galichenergo uses the UBA-301 in automation panels for process control and ventilation systems.
