The ET-485 is a microprocessor-based device designed for data exchange over Ethernet 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T networks with equipment equipped with an RS-485 interface, forming a Modbus network.

The device functions as a Modbus server for Modbus client connections over the Ethernet network.

It redirects Modbus requests from clients to devices in the Modbus network and returns responses from the devices to the clients.

The ET-485 features:
