The OM-310 power limiter is designed for:
- protecting the consumer in the event of poor electrical network parameters
- completely disconnecting the load if the consumed power exceeds the primary threshold for a user-specified time
- partially disconnecting the load if the consumed power exceeds the secondary threshold for a user-specified time
- measuring and displaying the parameters of a three-phase electrical network (current values of phase and line voltages; voltages of direct, reverse, and zero sequences; current values of phase currents; active, reactive, and total power consumed by the load, and power factor cos φ)
- alerting about emergency situations
- remotely connecting and disconnecting the load via the RS-232 / RS485 interface or an external switch
The device supports operation with loads ranging from 2.5 kW to 30 kW when using built-in current transformers, and up to 350 kW when using external current transformers, including networks with an isolated neutral.
The OM-310 provides the following types of consumer protections:
- in case of poor network voltage quality (unacceptable voltage surges, phase breaks, phase sequence violations, phase interlocking, phase/line voltage imbalances)
- when the maximum set current per phase of the load is exceeded
- for leakage currents to "ground."
- For each type of protection, it is possible to enable or disable automatic load reconnection
Protection of electrical equipment is ensured by controlling the coil of a magnetic starter (contactor).
