The voltage, phase imbalance, and phase sequence relay RNPP-313 is designed for:
- Monitoring the permissible voltage level.
- Controlling the correct phase sequence and detecting phase sticking.
- Monitoring phase completeness and voltage symmetry (phase imbalance).
- Disconnecting the load in case of poor network voltage quality.
- Assessing voltage quality after load disconnection and automatically reactivating the load once voltage parameters are restored.
- Displaying fault conditions in case of an emergency and indicating the presence of voltage on each phase.
- Detecting neutral wire breakage.
- The device allows for adjustable response delay time for phase imbalance protection. Once the network voltage parameters are restored, the relay automatically reconnects the load after the auto-reclosing delay (APR).
RNPP-313 Operating Modes:
- Minimum Voltage Monitoring: If the voltage drops below 195V, the protected equipment will be disconnected from the network.
- Maximum Voltage Monitoring: If the voltage exceeds 260V, the protected equipment will be disconnected from the network.
- Phase Presence Control: If one of the phases is lost, the protected equipment will be disconnected from the network.
- Incorrect Phase Sequence and Phase Sticking Control: If the phases are connected incorrectly or if one phase sticks, the protected equipment will be disconnected from the network.
- Phase Imbalance Control: If the voltage difference between phases exceeds 40V, the protected equipment will be disconnected from the network.
- Neutral Wire Break Control: In the event of a neutral wire break, the protected equipment will be disconnected, and the LINE and OFF indicators will turn off.
- Permanent Phase Presence Monitoring: This feature remains active in all operating modes.
- In all modes, the device responds to phase loss or voltage drop below 100V on one or more phases within a fixed response time of 0.25 seconds.
Advantages:
- Connection via a contactor.
- Changeover contact.
- Extremely compact size.
- Easy setup.
Applications:
- Monitoring phase and line voltages in a three-phase network.
- Protecting three-phase or, in some cases, single-phase equipment from electrical faults in a three-phase network, including voltage anomalies, incorrect phase sequencing, phase sticking, phase loss, and voltage asymmetry.
- Ideal for protecting refrigeration and ventilation systems.
- Suitable for compact control panels where space savings are critical.
Key Features:
- Monitoring the permissible RMS voltage level.
- Controlling phase sequence correctness and detecting phase sticking.
- Monitoring phase completeness and voltage symmetry.
- Disconnecting the load by breaking the power circuit of the contactor coil when protection conditions are met.
- Assessing network voltage quality after load disconnection and automatically restoring the load once voltage parameters normalize.
