The UBZ-115 is designed to protect single-phase asynchronous electric motors with a capacity of up to 5.5 kW (25A).

The device provides continuous monitoring of the mains voltage and current consumed by the motor.

The UBZ-115 has an external input for remote start or stop of the motor, and a ‘soft start’ function for up to 5 seconds.

Installation of the starting and operating capacitance is carried out directly into the device body.

UBZ-115 provides protection in the following situations:

• poor quality mains voltage
• mechanical overload of the motor (determined by the current consumed by the motor)
• loss of load on the motor shaft (‘dry running’)
• delayed start or rotor blocking
• thermal overloads (thermal model of the motor)

For each type of protection, it is possible to select automatic motor reclosing (AMR).
