Designed for continuous monitoring of the parameters of three-phase electrical equipment (primarily 3-phase asynchronous motors):

• network voltage,
• actual phase/line currents,
• consumed power,
• voltage and currents of direct and reverse sequence,
• insulation resistance to the body,
• differential earth leakage currents (zero-sequence currents),
• operating temperature regimes.

The unit is developed for widespread use in building and construction engineering systems (heating, ventilation, water supply, air conditioning), process control systems, and industrial automation, control, accounting, and dispatching systems.

The unit significantly reduces the probability of failures in 3-phase electrical equipment, decreases operating costs, optimizes electricity consumption, and greatly improves ease of use.

It includes a full set of protections implemented in UBZ-301. Additionally, it provides protection against prolonged starting and rotor blocking, and monitors the overheating of motor windings using temperature sensors.

The presence of a second output relay provides the possibility to organize additional operating modes:

• “star-delta” switching;
• activation with “delayed start” (e.g., cascade activation of motors);
• remote signaling relay.
