RNPP-3100 digital 3-phase voltage relay 100V is designed for the continuous parameter monitoring of secondary circuits in measuring voltage transformers (VT). The device provides bulletproof protection and interlocking for relay protection and automation systems (RZA) as well as measuring instruments during grid faults. It instantly switches its 12 A dry contacts to open control circuits, preventing false operations of substation automation.
The RNPP-3100 is an intelligent, DIN-rail mounted microprocessor module featuring a bright digital display, engineered specifically for low-voltage measurement grids with a nominal line-to-line voltage of 100V (operational range from 40V to 150V). Utilizing True RMS measurements, it guarantees superior accuracy (≤ 1.5%) and completely eliminates false trippings caused by harmonic distortion of the sine wave. Thanks to the built-in display, operators can visually monitor current phase voltages and effortlessly configure precise individual protection parameters via front-panel buttons.
Main Monitoring & Protective Functions:
Dual-Threshold Voltage Protection: Accurate tracking and response to dangerous overvoltage or undervoltage within VT circuits, paired with adjustable trip delay timers.
Phase Loss & Asymmetry Control: Instant reaction to phase unbalance or a total loss of a phase, which distorts measuring instrument data.
Network Topology Analysis: Verification of correct phase sequence and prevention of accidental phase coincidence ("sticking") in secondary circuits.
Remote Control Capability: Features a dedicated digital input (terminals 11-12) for external remote turning off/on of the relay based on signals from third-party substation protection systems.
Once the network fault is resolved, the relay automatically performs an automatic reclosure (AR) after a user-defined time delay. The device is equipped with a changeover relay output (rated up to 12 A at 250 V AC) to control auxiliary relays or alarm circuits.
